You do not have to be a great swimmer to be a Get Grenada Swimming Volunteer.
As long as you are comfortable in the water, it will only take 30 minutes
for us to train you on how to work with the children (and adults!).
You need to be able to teach them to blow bubbles underwater,
float on their bellies and backs, kick with a noodle, simple things like that.
Please see our Swimming Skills Checklist for the things you will be teaching.
Volunteers usually teach Level 1 and Level 2.

This DropBox Link will give you some basic training before you get here.
Videos 3-5 are the most important.
You don't have to sign up for a Dropbox account;
just decline when the menu comes up.
We love having volunteers come from other countries.
Each year we have people come from the US, Canada, the UK,
Sweden and other wonderful places.
Sometimes families make a vacation with parents, grandparents, and teens all teaching.
